The College being a constituent college of University of Delhi, follows the syllabus as designed by the University and has also effectively implemented Annual Mode/ FYUP/ Semester/CBCS/ LOCF-CBCS modes of teaching as and when the University has introduced the same. The academic calendar as notified by the University is strictly adhered to properly channelize  the course content and for time bound completion of the syllabus. Every year a comprehensive prospectus is designed with focus on courses offered, rules related to attendance and internal assessment  scheme along with the list of faculty members so as to familiarize the students with the teaching learning process from the very day when they enter the college to seek admission.

 The institution adheres to the academic calendar including for the conduct of Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE). The college currently follows the LOCF-CBCS scheme of examination and evaluation prescribed by the University of Delhi. The performance of the students is evaluated in two components:
Internal Assessment of 25 marks (having three parts i.e. Assignments-10 Marks, Class Test/ Viva/ Presentation-10 Marks & Attendance-5 Marks) and Semester End Examinations of 75 marks. The student is required to obtain a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate for each course.

 The faculty members of the College earnestly endeavor to educate their students on pertinent subjects, such as Professional Ethics, Gender Studies, Human Values, Environmental Education, Human Rights, ICT etc.  Various departments offer courses which deal with the afore mentioned issues. The relevance of these issues is integrated into the curriculum in the course of their classroom lectures and tutorial discussions. Teachers assign projects to the students on these issues to generate inquisitiveness and subsequent awareness. Students also organize classroom exhibitions of their projects.
